Menage a Trois 2006 White Wine Review

posted in Whites, Wine Reviews |

Sir Vino is constantly in pursuit of wines that rate high in QVR (quality to value ratio).  Today, I am enjoying a suprisingly elegant White Table Wine under the label of “Menage a Trois”.    This California vinted wine is a delightful blend of Chardonnay, Moscato and Chenin blanc.  Vintage 2006, this respectable white can be found at many retail establishments for under $15.00.  Enoy!!!!

If you enjoy the Menage a Trois white, you’ll really enjoy the red version of this lovely blend of Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The 2006, currently found in your local store for $9-$12, opens up so beautifully you’ll confuse it with a wine you paid three to five times that. We buy this wine by the case, take it to parties, and wow our wine snobby friends with it (without disclosing that it’s so inexpensive.) Jammy and yummy is what I call it.
